Tesco MiltonMark Fox leads, Keith Bartlett tails Setting out from Tesco Milton, Mark’s ride heads north into the Fens to the breakfast venue at the Green Welly Garden Centre in Chatteris, famous for its cooked breakfasts. Once everyone has eaten their fill it’s south-by-southwest to the conclusion of the ride at Caxton Gibbet, for a total mileage of just under 90 miles Please arrive fully-fueled, ready for the briefing at 9:20am. Update: Motorcycle Live 2021

Monday 17 October: several members have expressed interest in a weekday group ride to Motorcycle Live 2021. Wavering full members can contact Keith Tremeer by the newly extended 24th October deadline to find out more! Motorcycle Live 2021 4 – 12 December NEC, Birmingham Tentative planning is underway for a CambsIAM group ride from Cambridge area to this year’s show. Tom Jacobs leads with Steve Alsop tail-ending on our next Sunday ride, departing Tesco Milton at 9.30am.  If you can get fuel, please arrive with a full tank in good time for the 9.20am briefing Tom has devised a clockwise loop which takes in both Norfolk & Suffolk, with a breakfast stop at Krazy Horse, Bury St Edmunds, where Harley-Davidson enthusiasts can enjoy a Fat Boy Burger. Ian Dunckley leads this rideout, with Paul Ylioja in the tail position, leaving from Tesco Royston at 9.30am After the short ride to Hitchin, it’s into the countryside of South Bedfordshire and the Chilterns forest and breakfast near the Bridgewater Monument in Ashridge Park. The return journey passes Ivinghoe Beacon & the chalk lion at Whipsnade, offers dramatic views of gliders and scenery at Dunstable Downs then a flowing ride through the rural landscape of mid-Bedfordshire before finishing at BP Arrington This ride is limited (more…)

Book this week for a place on our Autumn BBQ… our first social event since the lockdown release! All-day ride to Kent on Sept 12

Barry D describes his forthcoming all-day ride, which is open to full members (and their pillions) only… We’ll set out at 8:30am from Cambridge Services – you’ll need a full tank as it is about 150 miles each way!
