Draw a straight line from Cambridge to Felixstowe on a map: two thirds of the way along you’ll find the village of Semer. We’ll follow B-roads and country lanes as we journey east into Suffolk, passing Highpoint Prison & Melford Hall on our way to Hollow Trees Farm (Semer, Suffolk) for breakfast.

Heading west again after a wholesome breakfast (and optional farm shop purchases), we pass within a stone’s throw of Claudia Schiffer’s Tudor mansion, directly in front of the Suffolk Regiment Museum & alongside Newmarket Racecourse. The ride concludes back where it started at the BP garage on Newmarket Road, Cambridge after 86 miles
