The ride
Our departure point is BP Childerley Gate, just a few miles from Cambridge. Heading west into Bedford, we pass through Longstowe, Gamlingay, Blunham, Willingham & Cople on our way to breakfast at the Shuttleworth Café (menu here). The outward journey is ~30 miles
Leaving the café we retrace our steps on a couple of short sections before branching off to Great Barford and heading cross-country to Riseley and on to the B645 where we turn east again. Passing through Hail Weston, Toseland & Boxworth we finish at the A14 Cambridge Services after a return journey of 38 miles

The WhatsApp group
Entirely optional: to take part simply include your mobile phone number when requesting a place on the ride! Those doing so will be invited to a WhatsApp group so they can get in touch with others during the ride should the need arise. Appreciative commentary & images posted to the group will be used (with your permission!) in a Newsletter article. The group will be deleted after the ride
