There’s no doubt about it: group ride-outs are safer & more enjoyable for everyone when all participants understand & follow the guidelines, the roles of the leader & tailer are clearly defined, and there is a well-structured pre-ride briefing. Since we introduced Group Rides training in 2023, fewer problems have arisen on CAM-organised rides, and your feedback suggests you’re finding ride-outs more accessible, and that they offer an even more enjoyable experience than before.
We’re therefore delighted to announce 2025’s second Group Ride training session, to be held at Over Community Centre on Saturday 6th September starting at 10:00am until 4pm
The morning is classroom based. After lunch, we move onto the practical session on public roads – so attendees should come on their bikes. The day ends with a Q&A back at Over.
This training is free and open to full members and Associate Members.
