CAM’s first Associate rideout – a chance for Associates to meetup, ride together & share experiences over breakfast. With a maximum of eight (including Shaun Digby, Andy Saward & Patrick Ryan from the Observer team) and an extended ride briefing, this is the ideal occasion for Associates who have been pondering joining their first CAM group ride!
Riders convene at Cambridge Services by 9:30am. Those fancying chatting over a coffee should head into Costa, where the ride briefing will begin promptly at 9:30am. This will cover the route in detail, as well as the system being used to navigate it. The ride sets off at 9:50am
The outward journey takes heads west as far as Grafham Water, before turning south towards St Neots; to avoid getting snarled up in town we’ll use the ring road to pick up the B1046 and head for a leisurely breakfast at Woodview Farm Café just south of Gamlingay
Back on the bikes by 12:15pm, we’ll set off in the direction of Guilden Morden before turning north-east, through picturesque villages on scenic backroads. The route skirts west of Cambridge and then meanders back to the start point. Retracing our outward route for the last few miles, we’ll arrive at Cambridge Services by 1:30pm
Please note – as with all CAM group rides, an Observer must have confirmed that your riding is at a suitable standard to take part. If you would have liked to have joined the ride but have not yet received this confirmation, please use the link below to let us know this so we can measure demand and know to invite you when we run the next Associate Ride
