SUMMARY:Final call for the JetLounge
DESCRIPTION:The flight plan for our first August sortie has been finalised – Catherine & Nick will be heading into Suffolk\, passing through  some much-loved Suffolks towns along the way\, including Newmarket\, Clare\, Cavendish & Lavenham. But with no fewer than 246 listed buildings and a recorded history stretching make to the ninth century\, Hadleigh has plenty of charm of its own. In keeping with the slightly out-of-the-way destination\, both the outward & return journeys make use of Suffolk’s less-travelled byways \nDepart             BP Newmarket Road\, Cambridge       what3words\nBreakfast        JetLounge@99\, High Street\, Hadleigh      what3words\nEnd                   A1303 layby\, near A14/J35\, Cambridge      what3words \nDate & time    Sunday 3rd August\, 9:30am  (following the customary 9:20am briefing) \nPilot                  Catherine Ryan                       Co-pilot          Nick Harwood\nCrew                 Limited to 14 in total             Distance         88 miles in total \nAttentive readers might spot a theme in the brunch menu. SUMMARY:Sunday ride to Sible Hedingham
DESCRIPTION:With clear blue skies in prospect\, things are lining up for the perfect rideout! Graham Maile & John Hawkins take lead & tail positions this Sunday 17th August as they head to the Corner Café in Sible Hedingham. Here’s their plan for the outing – \nFrom Cambridge we head towards Balsham\, where a turn south takes us up to\, and across\, the A1307. We pass through Bartlow & Great Sampford\, to pick up the twisting B1051 to Thaxted. A left turn leaving Thaxted takes us onto a series of unclassified & B-roads to Finchingfield\, where we cross the river to take the B1053 towards Wethersfield and on to Sible Hedingham for our breakfast stop at the Corner Café – TripAdvisor – reviews & menu \nAfter breakfast we head north\, passing through Great Yeldham to Clare before branching off to Kedington to pick up the B1061\, which takes us across the A143 and through the Thurlows & Burrough Green and then on to Dullingham. Continuing northwest we cross both the A1340 & A1303\, finishing in the recreation ground car park on the outskirts of Swaffham Bulbeck (situated just off the B1102  – the road linking Swaffham Bulbeck to Cambridge) \nThis ride is ~67 miles in total.  Please note that the carpark at the rear of the café is fairly small\, and it may be necessary for some riders to park on the road out front \nDepart           BP Newmarket Road\, Cambridge       what3words\nBreakfast      Corner Café\, Alexandra Road\, Sible Hedingham        what3words\nEnd                Denny Recreation Ground\, Station Road\, Swaffham Bulbeck        what3words \nDate & time   Sunday 17th August\, 9:30am    (briefing at 9:20am) \nUse this link to request a place on Graham & John’s rideout \n
