SUMMARY:Sunday ride to GolfWorld (Elsenham)
DESCRIPTION:Keith Tremeer & Steve Rowdon lead & tail this ride\, departing from the carpark at Tesco Royston. Keith’s outline of the ride follows: \nThe ride heads to GolfWorld in Elsenham (near Bishop’s Stortford). The route initially takes us through Barley\, then heads south through Dassels to Ware\, then eastwards through Much Hadham & Hatfield Heath before turning north to Takeley. We pass to the north of Stansted Airport before reaching our breakfast stop. Unfortunately there won’t be time for anyone to try out the driving range or 9-hole golf course before we head back through Thaxted\, Dunmow & Blake End\, turning north towards our final destination at Fourwentways services\, passing through Great Bardfield\, Moor End & Bartlow on the way \nWe’ll be using predominantly country roads – a couple of which are single track with passing places)\, and there is a high likelihood that they will be somewhat muddy.
