Update: Cotswolds ride now full

All places have now been allocated on this ride

Leaving the Gulf Petrol Station in Barton at 9:00am, we will ride through the grounds of Woburn, then the roundabouts of Milton Keynes. After a quick coffee stop in Buckingham it’s on to the hills, taking in as much of this Area of  Outstanding Natural Beauty as time & two wheels will allow. We’ll be riding through some great scenery and pretty villages and, if you’re lucky, you might even enjoy some celebrity spotting

The route will take us through Ayhno, Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Campden and up Fish Hill. Lunch will be at Bourton-on-the-Water, famed as the Venice of the Cotswolds. There will be a chance to go round this very interesting little Motoring and Toy Museum (admission £6.50, card payment only. Discount for CSMA members)

Bourton on the Water – the Venice of the Cotswolds

After lunch we ride to Cleeve Hill, the highest peak in the Cotswolds, then some pleasant riding through small Cotswold lanes to Bibury and on to Burford. If you still have an appetite you can enjoy afternoon tea on Burford’s famous High Street

Following a more direct route back to Cambridge we should be home for about 7:00pm, having covered a total distance of around 250 miles

I’ve updated the post so it now shows this rather vital piece of information – thanks for pointing out the omission!
