F1RST on the 2nd attempt

Congratulations to Andy Lee, one of our five Members who passed their Advanced Test with a F1RST in 2019

Referred to in Chief Observer Graham Scott’s recent round-up of last year’s test results, Andy failed the test on his first attempt, but brushed himself down and went on to achieve a F1RST on his second go the very next week

Andy has written an account of his rideouts with Observer Steve Rowdon, and the bumpy road to his eventual success in the test. Associates currently working towards their Advanced Test in particular are likely to find inspiration and practical advice in his account. Read Andy’s write-up here
