Join Chris Curryer & Keith Tremeer on a departure from Tesco Royston. Alternatively, head out from Tesco Milton with Patrick Ryan & Paul Ylioja. Both rides depart at 9:30am, after a 9:20am briefing

Chris & Keith head to the Super Sausage Café on the A5 near Towcester, Northants. It should take about 1½ hours to get to this classic bikers venue which is normally quite busy. With no events planned this is our chance to get some breakfast and see a variety of bikes, from classic to modern. The outward journey will take in smaller Cambridgeshire & Bedfordshire lanes, cross the Woburn Estate and end with a blast on the dual-carriageway A5

The briefing will be more important than ever as the drop-off & buddy systems cannot be used on the A5, which riders will stay on through 2 busy traffic-controlled roundabouts until the café appears on the right. Chris will explain fully on the morning

After breakfast riders will negotiate the roundabouts of Milton Keynes, then mainly dual carriageways to the end point at Caxton Gibbet Service Area (near the A428/A1198 roundabout). The total distance is around about 100 miles: depending on queues at the café and traffic conditions this ride should end at around 1:30pm

Patrick & Paul head south and east through Burrough Green, Withersfield, Steeple Bumpstead and Wethersfield as it snakes 43 miles to the Corner Café in Sible Hedingham with only a couple of short sections on trunk roads. Everyone will find something to please on the extensive breakfast menu

The meandering journey north and west again will take riders through Sturmer, Stradishall, Moulton and Newmarket before the ride ends in Stow-cum-Quy, having covered 90 miles in total

Covid-19 restrictions apply: please bring a face-covering, and maintain social distancing at all times. Both rides strictly limited to six bikers, with places allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis (Catherine will prioritize those who have joined fewer rides)
